Computers and Devices
You may be provided with equipment for your role. Please take care of this equipment. If your device has protective covers, please leave them in place, and report damage / breakage and loss immediately. Upgrades are approved by your line manager and sometimes your General Manager – so tickets requesting upgrades or equipment variations will be referred to your Manager. Contractors provide their own equipment.
Printing & Scanning
Many of our offices use a Follow-Me printing system. Simply print to ‘SPG Secure Print’ and go to your nearest printer. Scan your card or use a PIN number (contact the Support Team or visit the SecurePrint portal for more details) to release your print jobs or scan direct to your email.
Should a paper jam occur, please follow the on-screen guidance to clear. Be gentle and try to remove pages without tearing. Contact the Support Team if you still need help.
Wireless Network
Wi-fi may be available for your personal use – Please discuss this with your manager for approval, and then contact the Support Team.
Email Access
Email can be added to your Mobile Device. Self-configuration is usually a simple process, we recommend the Outlook App, which also supports access to Shared Mailboxes on a mobile device. Download Outlook from the App Store or Play Store and sign in with your email address, password and complete the MFA process as required.
